Koninklijke N.V. Texels Eigen Stoomboot Onderneming (TESO) has been offering a ferry service between Texel and Den Helder since 1907. For more than 115 years we have crossed the sea on behalf of all our passengers. Since the foundation of TESO the goal has always remained the same: to maintain a reliable and affordable ferry connection between Texel and the mainland. Our primary focus is the quality of service and a reliable connection.
Texel ferry service was founded by the citizens of the island. Today the ownership is still in the hands of approximately 3,100 citizens of Texel and other users of the ferry service. TESO has no profit-making objective. Instead, the company invests primarily in safety, quality and continuity. The passengers’ interests are central to us.
